Twenty Twenty-Five is the WordPress default theme for 2025, and the one WordPress still ships today. It is aimed at personal publishing — written blogs and photo blogs — and keeps the reading experience at the center of the design.
The theme ships with an unusually large collection of patterns and several style variations, each with its own typography set. The same block templates can serve a text-led journal, an image-led photo blog, or a simple brochure site.
