Twenty Twenty-Two is the WordPress default theme for 2022 and the first one built for full site editing. Every part of the site — header, footer, single posts, archives — is a block template you edit in the Site Editor instead of in theme files.
It ships with a broad library of patterns and a set of style variations. Colors, typography, and spacing all come from the theme’s global styles, so you can restyle the whole site without writing code.
