Is the Translation Partners Program free?
The Translation Partners Program is free to join, and doesn’t include any fees when your clients buy WPML via your referral link. WPML only charges a small fee when clients find your service via our web or plugin directories.
How does my referral link work?
Referral links offer two main benefits:
- No competing services – clients who buy WPML using your referral link only see your service inside the WPML plugin (other services are hidden from view).
- No WPML fees – the small fee WPML charges when clients find your service via our directories is cancelled.
What is the Translation Readiness service?
Translation Readiness is a free service for Translation Partners that checks your client’s website for any technical issues, and fixes them if needed. This ensures your translation process goes smoothly, and you don’t hit any issues while on a deadline.

How can users connect with my service if I don’t join the program?

What are the requirements for joining the Translation Partners Program?
To join the Translation Partners Program, you must:
- Be a translation service with good familiarity of WPML
- Have an active integration with WPML
- Have completed at least 5 translation projects
- Publicly announce the partnership on your site and create a landing page
