Overview of the issue
When using the Astra theme, there are instances where certain translations will not display correctly if the language set in a user’s profile matches the default language of the site. This issue manifests in scenarios such as adding a product to the cart in a secondary language and navigating to the cart page. Despite being translated, the order steps do not appear in the translated language.
Workaround
Please, make sure of having a full backup of your site before proceeding.
- Open …/wp-content/plugins/astra-addon/classes/class-astra-theme-extension.php file.
- Look for line 180.
- Replace:
if ( $wp_version >= 4.7 ) { $get_locale = get_user_locale(); } - With:
if ( $wp_version >= 4.7 && ! class_exists ('Sitepress') ) { $get_locale = get_user_locale(); }
