Overview of the issue

If you use shortcodes within Dynamic tags of an Icon List widget of Elementor plugin, you will notice that they won’t be available for translation.

Workaround

Please, make sure of having a full backup of your site before proceeding.


  • Open …/wp-content/plugins/sitepress-multilingual-cms/addons/wpml-page-builders/classes/Integrations/Elementor/DynamicContent/Strings.php file.

  • Look for line 19.

  • Replace: 
    const TRANSLATABLE_SETTINGS = [
	'before',
	'after',
	'fallback',
	'video_url',
];


  • With: 
    const TRANSLATABLE_SETTINGS = [
		'before',
		'after',
		'fallback',
		'video_url',
		'shortcode'
];
