Elementor – Unable to Add New Page Using Elementor Builder

Overview of the issue

When attempting to create a new page directly from the Elementor Builder, the action fails and results in a 404 error instead of loading the new page.

Workaround

Please, make sure of having a full site backup of your site before proceeding.

Edit your theme’s functions.php file.

Add the following snippet:

add_action( 'elementor/document/after_save', 'compsupp_7780_after_document_save' );
 
function compsupp_7780_after_document_save( $document ) {
 
    $wpml_page_id = $document->get_post()->ID;
