Overview of the issue
Posts are “scheduled” when given a future publish date. When reviewing automatic translations of such posts, if using the option
1. Wait for review
then when reviewing the translation, accepting the translation means publishing it, and the future publish date is overwritten and the translation published immediately.
If using the option
2. Publish and mark for review
when you click the link to review the translation it fails to open, and in the browser console there is an error:
Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: Failed to construct ‘URL’: Invalid URL
Workaround
In the case of option 1. you will need to edit the translated post and re-set the publish date to the intended future date.
We do not have a workaround for option 2. currently, but are working on the issue.
