Overview of the issue
Since WPML started using the WordPress REST API in some backend operations, we noticed that Really Simple SSL wasn’t converting the REST API URL to https which ended up in “Mixed Content” warnings in the browser console.
Workaround
Head over to the Settings -> General page and change the WordPress Address and the Site Address to start with https.
