Overview of the issue
When using WPML, if you attempt to translate a term description, the system does not accept blank values. It’s currently not possible to remove a term translation by setting it to a blank value.
Workaround
Please, make sure of having a full backup of your site before proceeding.
- Open …/wp-content/plugins/sitepress-multilingual-cms/inc/taxonomy-term-translation/wpml-update-term-action.class.php file.
- Look for line 120.
- Replace:
if ( $description ) { - With:
if ( isset( $description ) ) {
