Overview of the issue
When using the Visual Composer plugin with WPML, you may see duplicated content in the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE) under specific circumstances:
- Create a page.
- Add a Row, a Column, and then Content.
- Send the page to translation and open the job in the Advanced Translation Editor. You’ll see that the content appears twice.
Despite this, translations display correctly on the front-end.
This is similar to a previous issue, but only occurs with this specific workflow.
Workaround
We are working closely with the Visual Composer team in order to resolve this issue.
