Overview of the issue
When using WPBakery Page Builder (version 8.7) with WPML and translating content using the Classic Translation Editor (CTE), you might notice that shortcodes from the WPBakery backend editor are incorrectly wrapped in <p> tags. This might break the expected structure and display of the shortcodes on the translated page.
Workaround
To avoid this issue, you can:
- Use the WPBakery Frontend Editor to build your pages instead of the backend editor.
- Or, translate your pages using the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE) instead of the Classic Translation Editor.
WPBakery’s development team is aware of the issue and is working on a fix.
