Overview of the issue
The ElasticPress 5.0 update has changed their GUI API causing the graphical user interface (GUI) indexing process to not function correctly when attempting to synchronize multilingual content indices per language using the ElasticPress admin page.
Workaround
The issue is currently under investigation by the WPML development team. We recommend you to use the wp wpml_elasticpress sync CLI command to perform the sync process.
