Overview of the issue
When using WPML Multilingual & Multicurrency for WooCommerce, translating a product category that has an image assigned to it may result in the image not being copied to the translated category.
Workaround
- Go to WPML → Settings → Custom Term Meta Translation
- Set “thumbnail_id” to COPY
- Re-save your default language category — the image should now be copied to the translated version.
- It will work fine with any new translation also.
