Compatibility between CookieYes plugin and WPML

CookieYes works with WPML, with one limitation. The plugin shows a customizable cookie consent banner that helps your site comply with GDPR. With the standalone plugin, and on the free web app plan, the banner appears in a single default language, which you edit in the Languages tab.

If you’re using only the standalone plugin, the banner will appear in the default language, regardless of the site language settings. If you wish to customize the banner language to a custom language, you can manually update the content within the default language in the Languages tab.

For users connected to the CookieYes web app on a free plan, the same single-language display applies as outlined above.

For users on a paid plan connected to the web app, full multilingual support is available. you can add multiple languages and manage translations in line with the instructions provided in this documentation.
