Download and Install WPML – The OTGS Installer for Multilingual WordPress

Install WPML on your WordPress site through the OTGS Installer – a small auxiliary plugin that downloads WPML and its add-ons from your WPML account directly onto your site and keeps WPML up to date later.

Once you have the OTGS Installer in place, the rest of the work (registering your site key and downloading WPML and the add-ons) happens at a single top-level menu the installer adds to your WordPress admin: WPML > Activate & Update.

  1. Download the OTGS Installer

    1. Log into your account.
    2. Open the Downloads section in the account sidebar.
    3. Click the download icon next to the OTGS Installer. You’ll get a ZIP file.

  2. Install It on WordPress

    1. In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins > Add Plugin.
    2. Click Upload Plugin at the top of the screen.
    3. Choose the OTGS Installer ZIP and click Install Now, then Activate.

    Once active, a new WPML > Activate & Update menu appears in your WordPress admin sidebar. That’s where you’ll do the next step.

After Installing – Register Your Site Key

Register your site key and install WPML and the add-ons your site needs. Both happen at WPML > Activate & Update.
