ACF Multilingual 2.2.0 – Easier Options Page Translation and Better Local Fields Support
Translate Options Pages directly in Translation Dashboard, manage local fields more easily, and enjoy faster performance with ACFML 2.2.0.
BuddyPress Multilingual 1.8.0 makes it possible to translate new content in BuddyBoss and BuddyPress user profiles.
BuddyPress Multilingual Has a New Name
To comply with plugin trademarks, we’ve renamed BuddyPress Multilingual to WPML Multilingual for BuddyPress and BuddyBoss.
With BuddyPress Multilingual 1.8.0, you can now translate the following types of content via WPML → Translation Management:

For example, here’s how Profile Types and Group Types appear in Translation Management. To translate them, simply select the items, choose your translation method, and click Translate.
Bug Fixes
Besides new translation capabilities, BuddyPress Multilingual 1.8.0 also includes a number of bug fixes:
- Fixed the infinite loop when setting a BuddyPress page without a language
- Fixed an issue with internal links on member detail pages when set to display as translated

How to Update
We’re currently releasing BuddyPress Multilingual 1.8.0 gradually and recommend waiting until the update reaches your site. If you don’t want to wait, follow these steps to update BuddyPress Multilingual right away:
- Log into your WordPress admin dashboard.
- Go to Plugins → Add New and click the Commercial tab.
- Click the Check for updates button.
- Select the new BuddyPress Multilingual component (appears in red).
- Click the Download button.
