מומלץ שתתקן את ה־locale ב־WPML > שפות > עריכת שפות
אם אינך יכול לגשת לאף עמוד באזור הניהול, עליך להשבית זמנית את WPML תרגום מחרוזות – הדרך הטובה ביותר היא לעבור באמצעות FTP לתיקייה /wp-content/plugins/ ולשנות את שם התיקייה למשהו אחר.
כתיקון זמני, ערוך את הקובץ wpml-string-translation/classes/translations-file-scan/translations-file/wpml-st-translations-file-locale.php בשורה 65 והחלף את:
throw new RuntimeException( 'Language of ' . $this->filepath. ' cannot be recognized' );
