Overview of the issue
This issue may occur sometimes with a page builder and the translation editor where some translations fields could be missing. As a consequence, when the translation job is saved, the missing blocks will be replaced by the original ones.
If you have the addon WPML Media Translation active on your site, please consult this errata: Cannot edit page builder translations with the native WordPress editor.
Workaround
The workaround is to refresh the translation job and we have 2 options for this:
- Option 1: Make a minor change in the original page and update it => You should see a “spin” icon to open the translation job instead of the “pencil”. This means that the translation job will be refreshed and all the fields should appear.
- Option 2: Go to WPML -> Translation Management, complete the wizard and send the document to translation from the dashboard. This will also force to refresh the translation job.
