Overview of the issue
When translating content in our Advanced Translation Editor (ATE), certain sentences may not appear, and numbers are incorrectly shown as separate translatable segments. This issue occurs due to the ”I prefer bigger segments” feature in ATE, which inadvertently merges multiple segments, especially when sentences start with numbers or contain non-breaking space characters.
Workaround
Temporarily disable the ”I prefer bigger segments” feature in ATE:
- Go to the top right corner of the translation editor.
- Click the gear icon.
- Disable the “I prefer bigger segments” option.
- Refresh the original page and translate your content.
