Overview of the issue
In some cases, certain characters or patterns (i.e: %, %%) may be altered during the translation process to avoid breaking things in the front-end and overall to save useless costs from your translations.
This can cause unexpected output, in very rare cases, where functions that rely on those characters, such as sprintf() are used.
Workaround
If you experience this behavior, please open a support ticket and include:
-
The original text (including the symbols and characters that are filtered out)
-
What you expect to see vs. what you’re currently seeing
- The URL of the page where the problem is happening.
Our team will review it and, when possible, apply custom adjustments to help fix this problem on your end.
Please note: these situations are handled case by case, and while we can often provide workarounds, not every case can be corrected.
